Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Dr. Swarnim Wagle has strongly opposed the suspension of party Chair Rabi Lamichhane, calling it unfair and unconstitutional.

Speaking in Parliament on Friday, he announced that the party would seek legal action against the decision.

Wagle criticized the suspension, stating that Lamichhane was deliberately being kept out of Parliament and the suspension was based on Section 27 of the Money Laundering Act while Nepal’s constitution was ignored.

He also accused the government of unfairly targeting Lamichhane, using state power against him with bias. He compared the party’s struggle to a common pattern where new political forces are first ignored, mocked, attacked, and later accepted.

According to him, RSP is currently facing attacks but remains confident about gaining recognition soon. Reaffirming RSP’s commitment to justice, Wagle stated that the party will continue its legal and political fight to ensure fairness.
