Prime Minister Sushila Karki has extended her best wishes to all Nepalis on the occasions of Tihar, Mha Puja, Nepal Sambat New Year 1146, and Chhath festival, calling for national unity to achieve peace, prosperity, and good governance.
In her message, PM Karki highlighted the enduring spirit of unity among Nepalis even in difficult times and urged citizens to “end despair and darkness together to build a brighter future for a new Nepal.”
She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to conducting free and fair elections on March 4 (Fagun 21) and to forming a stable government within six months. The Prime Minister also emphasized the administration’s focus on ensuring good governance, tackling corruption, and carrying out an impartial investigation into incidents of violence during the recent Gen Z movement.
PM Karki described the festivals as symbols of hope, faith, and victory of light over darkness, reflecting Nepal’s collective aspiration for harmony and progress.
