President Paudel Extends Tihar Greetings, Calls for Unity and Good Governance

President Ram Chandra Paudel has extended warm greetings to Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of Tihar, expressing hope that the festival will inspire harmony, goodwill, and the pursuit of good governance and prosperity.

In his message, the President emphasized that Nepal’s cultural diversity is its greatest strength, with festivals like Tihar serving as powerful symbols of unity among different communities.

Describing Tihar as more than just a festival of lights, President Paudel said it carries deep cultural, historical, and psychological meaning. He expressed hope that its celebration would encourage citizens to embrace truth, justice, and compassion.

Highlighting traditions such as Bhai Tika and Mha Puja, the President noted that these rituals reflect the essence of love, social harmony, and the victory of light over darkness.
