Prime Minister Sushila Karki has invited seven political parties, represented in the dissolved House of Representatives, for discussions on the upcoming elections scheduled for March 5 (Fagun 21).

 

According to her press coordinator, Ram Rawal, the meeting will take place at 4:00 p.m. on October 20 (Kartik 4) at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

 

Each of the recognized parties has been requested to send two senior representatives to the meeting. The invited parties include the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janamat Party, and the Nagarik Unmukti Party.

 

The discussion aims to ensure coordination among major political forces ahead of the national polls.
