Parliamentary Committees to Discuss Education Bill, Judicial Hearings Today

Two important committees of the Federal Parliament will hold meetings this Saturday in Singha Durbar.

The Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee will gather first. Their meeting will start at 11 a.m. They will mainly talk about the report prepared by a subcommittee regarding the School Education Bill, 2080. The bill focuses on making changes and improvements in the country’s school education system.

Later, at 2 p.m., the Parliamentary Hearing Committee (Joint) will also meet in the building of the Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee.

This meeting is being held to prepare for the parliamentary hearing process of candidates for Supreme Court judges and members of the Judicial Council. The committee is expected to finalize plans for starting the hearing soon.
