Nepal Super League: Pokhara Thunders Take On Dhangadhi Today

Pokhara Thunders FC take on Dhangadhi FC at the Dashrath Stadium on Wednesday to enter the finals of the third season of the Nepal Super League where the winning team will take on Lalitpur City FC.  

The second qualifier begins at 6 pm and features the Bullet Man, Roberto Carlos, among euphoric fans and a great flavor of Nepali football.

Earlier on Wednesday, the ace footballer had a meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers in Singhdurbar.  

PM Oli expressed confidence that Carlos’ arrival will Nepali youths, including players, a boost. Lauding Nepal-Brazil diplomatic ties, he stressed the need for the sports sectors of the two countries to share the lessons learnt. 

He invited Carlos to come back to Nepal and enjoy mountain flights and jungle safari. 
On his part, Carlos thanked PM Oli for the reception he received in Nepal, expressed happiness for getting to meet the PM, players and other youths.      

Of late, the Nepali sports fraternity has been trying to give the sports sector a boost by inviting famous sportspersons.
