Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met Gianluigi Buffon, the former captain of the Italian national football team and famous goalkeeper, on Monday.
Buffon, who is the special guest for the closing ceremony of the third KP Oli Cup Football Championship, organized by the National Youth Association Nepal (linked with the UML), visited the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
The meeting was also attended by Oli’s wife, Radhika Shakya, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, National Youth Association Nepal President Kshitij Thebe, and Buffon’s family.
The final of the KP Oli Cup will be held on Monday evening at Dashrath Stadium, where Tribhuvan Army Club and Machhindra Club will compete for the title.
