Meeting Between Prime Minister and Footballer Carlos

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met with famous Brazilian footballer Roberto Carlos on April 23. The meeting took place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

Roberto Carlos is in Kathmandu to watch matches of the third season of the Nepal Super League (NSL).

Prime Minister Oli welcomed Carlos and said that his visit to Nepal would inspire local players and youth. He also mentioned that Nepal and Brazil have good diplomatic relations and stressed the importance of exchanging knowledge between the two countries in the field of sports.

PM Oli invited Carlos to visit Nepal again in the future with plans to experience mountain flights and jungle safaris.

Roberto Carlos thanked the Prime Minister for the warm welcome and said he was happy to meet the Prime Minister, Nepali youth and players.
