Blocked BP Highway resumes operation; police urge caution while traveling

The BP Highway, which had been blocked since yesterday evening due to incessant rainfall, has resumed operation. According to the Kavrepalanchok District Police Office, the highway was made operational after repair work was completed.

Transport services had been disrupted after the road was blocked due to continuous rainfall last night. Police have stated that traffic movement has been facilitated after road repairs.

However, as the weather forecast indicates the possibility of continued rainfall, the police have urged travelers to exercise special caution. Taking into account potential risks, travelers have been requested to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.

Police have also urged people to contact 100 and 103 in case of emergency or to inquire about road conditions.
