Speaker Aryal Extends Best Wishes on Buddha Jayanti

Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has expressed his belief that Buddha Jayanti will inspire everyone to move forward on the path of truth, justice, and humanity while reminding us of the timeless teachings of Gautam Buddha.

Extending a message of greetings on the occasion of the 2570th Buddha Jayanti, he expressed heartfelt best wishes to all Nepali brothers and sisters residing both at home and abroad.

Noting that Nepal is a nation rich in multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, and multi-cultural diversity, he said that unity within this very diversity and mutual harmony constitute the national strength.

Speaker Aryal mentioned that the teachings, philosophy, and ideas of Lord Buddha, a symbol of world peace, serve as a guide for all humankind. He added that Buddha Jayanti continues to spread the message of non-violence, compassion, and love. He stated that in today's changing context, Buddha's teachings inspire us to adopt patience, restraint, and positive thinking to overcome despair and confusion.

He expressed the view that following the Eightfold Path and the Five Precepts of Buddha is necessary to establish sustainable peace, order, and development in society. He also stated that Buddha's compassion and loving-kindness play a significant role in resolving the crises of human life.

On the occasion of Buddha Jayanti, the Speaker extended wishes for happiness, good health, longevity, national pride, and prosperity for all Nepalis. He also expressed the hope that Buddha's blessings would foster positive thinking, cooperation, and a sense of public welfare.
