Youth Call for National Unity Echoes at Maitighar Mandala

Calls for national unity and remembrance of martyrs resonated through Maitighar Mandala on Friday as young Nepalis from the Gen Z generation staged a peaceful demonstration under the banner Gen Z United.

Waving national flags and holding placards with messages of unity and patriotism, participants demanded that the government and media stop promoting narratives that divide the country’s youth.

Speakers at the rally said Nepal’s younger generation must come together to fulfill the dreams of those who sacrificed their lives for the nation. They emphasized that collective effort, not division, is key to progress and prosperity.

Members of martyr families and children also joined the event, expressing hope that such youth-led movements would strengthen national harmony.
