At least ten people were killed and several others seriously injured after a passenger bus caught fire near Tekuru village in Hyderabad on its way to Bengaluru early Friday morning.
According to Indian media reports citing rescue officials, the bus was carrying 42 passengers when the incident occurred. The blaze completely destroyed the vehicle, leaving it charred beyond recognition.
Preliminary police investigations suggest the fire started after the bus collided with a motorcycle. Authorities are continuing rescue and identification efforts.
