Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Rabi Lamichhane, president of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, and its senior leader Balendra Shah for their remarkable victory in Nepal’s 2026 elections.
In his congratulatory message, Sharif said the strong mandate shows the trust and confidence of the Nepali people in new and dynamic leadership.
He also expressed Pakistan’s willingness to work closely with Nepal’s newly elected government to further strengthen the historic friendship and cooperation between the two countries, according to the Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu.
