Cloudy Weather Likely Across Several Provinces, Light Rain Possible

The weather is expected to remain mostly cloudy in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as in the hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces.

In other parts of the country, the weather will be partly cloudy.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, there is a chance of light rain with thunder and lightning at some places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places in Madhesh Province.

There is also a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, as well as in the Tarai areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces. Snowfall may occur in some high-altitude areas.

The Division said the current weather is affected by partial influence of westerly winds, along with a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere and a low-pressure system near the eastern part of Nepal.
