The price of gold has increased in the Nepali market on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The association said the price of gold has gone up by Rs 2,000 per tola, bringing the new price to Rs 319,000 per tola today.
On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 317,000 per tola in the local market.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has not changed. Silver is still being traded at Rs 5,720 per tola, the same price as Tuesday.
In the international market, gold is trading at around $5,210 per ounce, while silver is being traded at about $89 per ounce, according to international media reports.
