Government Ends Two-Day Weekend, Sunday Becomes Working Day Again

The government has officially ended the two-day public holiday system.

According to a notice issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday, the two-day weekend arrangement, which had been implemented on a trial basis, has been scrapped effective from June 15.

The government has set office hours for all government offices across the country from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM from June 15 to October 31 and from February 13 to mid-April.

Similarly, from November 1 to February 12, government offices will operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

On Fridays, office hours will be from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
