Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the foreign exchange rates for Thursday.
According to the central bank, the value of most foreign currencies has fallen compared to the previous day. The decline has continued for a second consecutive day.
The buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs. 152.13 and the selling rate at Rs. 152.73. On Wednesday, the rates were Rs. 152.27 for buying and Rs. 152.87 for selling.
Similarly, one euro is being exchanged at Rs. 175.61 for buying and Rs. 176.30 for selling, down from Rs. 176.21 and Rs. 176.91 on Wednesday.
The British pound sterling has been set at Rs. 203.62 for buying and Rs. 204.42 for selling. The previous day's rates were Rs. 204.05 and Rs. 204.85.
The Australian dollar has also weakened, with the buying rate fixed at Rs. 106.55 and the selling rate at Rs. 106.97. On Wednesday, the rates stood at Rs. 107.47 and Rs. 107.90.
Likewise, the Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs. 495.13 for buying and Rs. 497.09 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar is set at Rs. 403.45 for buying and Rs. 405.04 for selling.
NRB said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary.
