President Ram Chandra Paudel has said that the aspirations of Nepali people are centered on good governance, effective public service delivery, rapid development, peace, and progress.
Addressing the 76th anniversary ceremony of the Public Service Commission, Paudel said Nepal’s state institutions must become more people-oriented, service-focused, technology-friendly, and results-driven to meet public expectations.
He emphasized that disciplined, ethical, and responsible civil servants can help improve governance and strengthen public trust through efficient and technology-based service delivery.
The President also called for protecting and strengthening the merit-based recruitment system, noting that the credibility of the Public Service Commission has encouraged many hardworking youths to pursue careers in public service.
Paudel urged the Commission to continue modernizing its recruitment processes, adopt advanced technologies, and prepare for future challenges while maintaining its core principles of merit, fairness, and transparency.
