Seven vehicles collided in a chain accident on the Muglin–Narayangadh road early Saturday morning, leaving one driver injured and traffic briefly disrupted.

A major road accident occurred this morning in the Gaighat area along the Muglin–Narayangadh section, after seven vehicles collided in succession around 7 a.m., temporarily halting traffic along the busy route.
According to the Area Police Office, Muglin, the chain collision began when a speeding truck rear-ended a passenger bus moving ahead of it. The impact caused the bus to lose control, leading to a series of crashes involving five other vehicles.
The front sections of the truck and bus sustained significant damage, while the remaining vehicles suffered minor impacts.
Rescue efforts were swiftly carried out by local residents and police personnel. The bus driver, who had been trapped inside the vehicle, was rescued and taken for medical attention. Authorities said further updates on his condition will be provided once available.
