CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has criticized the CPN-UML leadership for talking about restoring the Parliament, calling it “ridiculous” given their own history of dissolving it multiple times.

Speaking at an event organized by the All Nepal Trade Union Federation on Saturday, Dahal said those who repeatedly dissolved Parliament in the past have no moral ground to now advocate for its restoration. His remarks were clearly directed at UML Chair KP Sharma Oli.

Dahal also warned that failure to hold elections on schedule could push the country toward political instability and chaos. He urged the UML to accept current realities and cooperate in ensuring timely elections, calling it the best way to protect the Constitution and democracy.

He further reminded that the current government was formed on the recommendation of KP Oli himself, cautioning UML leaders not to undermine the administration they had supported.
