Kushal Bhurtel Hits 6 Sixes in an Over, Creates Historic Record Against China

Nepali national cricket team opening batter Kushal Bhurtel created history by smashing six sixes in a single over during the Asian Games qualifiers match against China.

Bhurtel hit six consecutive sixes in the ninth over of the innings, becoming only the second Nepali player to achieve this remarkable feat. He has also become the sixth cricketer in world cricket to hit six sixes in an over.

Earlier, Nepal all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee had achieved the same milestone against Qatar during the ACC Premier Cup in 2023 by hitting six sixes in the 20th over.

At the time this report was prepared, Bhurtel was unbeaten on 129 runs off just 42 balls. Meanwhile, another batter, Kushal Malla, was batting on 42 runs from 27 balls.
