Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairperson Rajendra Lingden has publicly questioned the whereabouts and effectiveness of the Good Governance Commission formed under Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s leadership.
Speaking in the House of Representatives on Monday, Lingden asked, “Where is this so-called Good Governance Commission? The people and the nation are looking for it.” The commission was announced during a cabinet meeting on April 20, 2082 B.S., with PM Oli as its head.
Lingden criticized the government for remaining silent while several ministers are being linked to corruption and unethical dealings. He said that if those ministers had any moral integrity, they would resign or be removed.
He also raised concerns over ministers allegedly taking money from people traveling abroad on visit visas, calling the practice non-transparent and wrong. Lingden warned that he will continue to question such unethical acts in Parliament.
