Progressive Democratic Party Backs Kulman Ghising in Kathmandu-3

The Gokarneshwor Municipal Committee of the Progressive Democratic Party has decided to fully support Kulman Ghising, the candidate of the Ujyalo Nepal Party, for the House of Representatives election from Kathmandu Constituency No. 3.

According to a statement issued by the municipal committee on Falgun 27, 2082 (March 11, 2026), the party emphasized the need to elect capable leadership for the country’s economic prosperity, good governance, and a brighter future. It stated that the decision was made in support of the public’s trust in Ghising’s dedication to nation-building and his pro-development image.

The statement has urged party members, supporters, and well-wishers at all levels to actively participate in election campaigning and door-to-door programs in favor of Ghising. It also appealed to voters to cast their ballots for the “Bal Ko Chim” election symbol in the voting scheduled for Falgun 29, and to ensure Ghising’s victory by a large margin.

The notice was signed by Secretary Taranath Puri, Chairperson Neer Karki (Ravi), and Vice-Chairperson Sunil Lama.
