The House of Representatives could not hold its scheduled meeting on Friday and has now been postponed until Sunday. The session, set for 1 PM, was called off as opposition parties continued their protest.
They are demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak over the visit visa scandal. Due to the ongoing obstruction, Speaker Devraj Ghimire held several rounds of talks with opposition leaders, but no solution has been found yet.
As a result, the next meeting of the House will now be held on Sunday at 1 PM.
