Tragedy in Jajarkot: Two Children Dead, One Still Missing in Bheri River

A heartbreaking incident took place in Jajarkot on Friday afternoon when three children went swimming in the Bheri River at Nalagad Municipality–8, Manmai. Sadly, two of them drowned, and one is still missing.

The deceased have been identified as 16-year-old Bhagwati Nepali and 12-year-old Asha Kusari. Both were local residents. Ten-year-old Mahesh Kusari, Asha’s younger brother, has not been found yet.

Locals tried to save Bhagwati after seeing her struggle in the water and rushed her to Aathbiskot Hospital, but she passed away during treatment. Police have confirmed that search efforts are still ongoing to locate the missing child.
