Pleasant weather across Nepal with scattered clouds in some regions

The weather is mostly clear in many parts of the country today. However, areas in Koshi and Bagmati Provinces, along with other hilly regions, are experiencing partly to generally cloudy skies.

Koshi Province is currently under the influence of monsoon winds, while the western and central regions are affected by western and local winds.

Kathmandu Valley and most other areas have clear weather today. By afternoon, skies in Koshi and other hilly regions may remain partly to generally cloudy.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some parts of Koshi and a few hilly areas. However, there is no immediate risk of heavy rainfall or flooding. Light snowfall is also possible in one or two high-hill and Himalayan areas.
