Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has extended his best wishes to all Nepalis living at home and abroad, and to all Muslim brothers and sisters, on the occasion of the holy festival of Bakra Eid (Eid-ul-Adha).
He said that this festival, celebrated as a symbol of mutual harmony, helps strengthen social unity and harmony among all Nepalis. He also expressed his belief that such celebrations give inspiration to the national campaign of building a united, developed, and prosperous Nepal.
Prachanda added that in a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, and multi-cultural country like Nepal, festivals like Bakra Eid are not just limited to one community but have become national festivals.
He said, “Every festival has its own historical and unique importance. Festivals have developed and been established through the collective experiences, education, and knowledge gained by human beings in the course of life.”
