Nepal’s Federal Parliament is meeting today with the House of Representatives at 1:00 PM and the National Assembly at 1:15 PM to begin discussions on the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2082/83.

Both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly are meeting today.
The House of Representatives will meet at 1:00 PM. In today’s meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present a proposal for a general discussion on the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2082/83. Members will then discuss the proposal.
Also, the Chairperson of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, Ramhari Khatiwada, will present the committee’s report on the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2082.
The National Assembly will meet at 1:15 PM. In this meeting too, Finance Minister Paudel will present the same proposal for discussion on the annual revenue and expenditure estimates. The discussion will then begin in the Assembly.
