Exchange Rates for June 6: USD Falls, Euro & Pound Rise

Nepal Rastra Bank has released the official foreign exchange rates for today (Friday). According to the update, the value of the US dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar has slightly decreased, while the euro, British pound, and Australian dollar have gone up a little. The US dollar is being bought at NPR 136.97 and sold at NPR 137.57, which is slightly lower than Thursday’s rates of NPR 137.15 (buying) and NPR 137.75 (selling). The euro is now at NPR 156.45 (buying) and NPR 157.13 (selling), slightly higher than yesterday’s NPR 156.12 and NPR 156.81. The British pound has also risen, with today’s rates at NPR 185.87 (buying) and NPR 186.68 (selling), compared to NPR 185.41 and NPR 186.22 the day before. The Australian dollar is trading at NPR 89.14 for buying and NPR 89.53 for selling, a small increase from Thursday’s NPR 88.83 and NPR 89.21. On the other hand, the Kuwaiti dinar has gone down to NPR 446.64 (buying) and NPR 448.59 (selling), compared to NPR 447.48 and NPR 449.44 yesterday. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar has dropped slightly, with the new rates at NPR 363.30 (buying) and NPR 364.89 (selling), down from NPR 363.79 and NPR 365.38.
