The District Administration Office, Lalitpur, has urged the public not to fly drones without prior permission during the Bhoto Jatra ceremony of Rato Machhindranath.
In a public notice, the office stated that drone flights will be prohibited between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM during the Bhoto display program taking place at Jawalakhel, Lalitpur Metropolitan City–4.
According to the administration, the restriction has been imposed considering the security sensitivity of the event. The ban applies to all unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including drones, during the specified period.
The office warned that any individual or organization found operating a drone without authorization during the restricted hours will face action in accordance with prevailing laws.
