The House of Representatives is scheduled to meet on Friday at 11 a.m. The agenda includes discussions and decisions on the Economic Bill, the National Debt Raising Bill, and several ordinances.
According to the parliamentary schedule, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle will present proposals to consider the Economic Bill, 2083 and the National Debt Raising Bill, 2083.
The meeting will also take up a proposal submitted by MP Khadak Bahadur Budha seeking the rejection of the Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2083. Following the decision on that proposal, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balen Shah, will present a proposal to endorse the ordinance.
Similarly, a rejection proposal registered by MP Nita Ghatani against the Money Laundering Prevention (Third Amendment) Ordinance, 2083 will be put to a vote. Afterwards, Finance Minister Dr. Wagle will table a proposal seeking approval of the ordinance.
The House will also decide on a rejection proposal filed by MP Aran Rai regarding the Cooperative (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2083. Following that, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration Pratibha Rawal will present a proposal for its approval.
Likewise, a rejection proposal registered by MP Kriparam Rana concerning the Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Health Science Academies, 2083 will be considered. Subsequently, Minister for Health and Food Hygiene Nisha Mehta will table a proposal seeking endorsement of the ordinance in Parliament.
