No Heavy Rain Expected in Coming Days, Say Meteorologists

According to meteorologist Shanti Kandel, there is no chance of heavy rainfall in the coming days. Some areas may see light to moderate rain, but no risk of flooding or heavy downpours for now.

The monsoon had started last Thursday night from the eastern region. Although it was active in the beginning, it has now become weaker and is currently limited to Koshi Province.

It will take a few more days for the monsoon to become active again and spread to other provinces, Kandel said.

Today, light to moderate rain is possible in some areas across all provinces, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
