One Killed, Three Injured in East–West Highway Accident in Sarlahi

One person has died and three others were injured in a road accident that occurred this morning in Ishwarpur, Sarlahi, along the East–West Highway.

The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Shubham Jaiswal of Butwal Sub-metropolitan City–1. He was traveling in a car (Lu. 3 Cha. 5472) that was heading towards Butwal from Kakarbhitta when the accident happened.

The injured include 23-year-old Sahil Verma, who was driving the car, and two passengers—48-year-old Bhrikishor Berma and 52-year-old Sanjay Jaiswal, both from Butwal Sub-metropolitan City–1. All three injured have been admitted to Shubhaswastik Hospital in Bardibas for treatment. Among them, Sanjay Jaiswal’s condition is said to be critical.

Police have said that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
