The 12th Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) World Conference and Grand General Convention will be held in Kathmandu from March 14 to 16.

The organizers said a high-level organizing committee, led by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, has been formed to manage the event. This year’s conference slogan is “Our Unity, the Foundation for Prosperity.”

According to a press statement, the Non-Resident Nepali movement began in 2003 with the slogan “Nepalis for Nepalis.” Its main goal is to bring Nepalis living around the world together under one organization.

The statement said that problems and disagreements within the Association were gradually resolved through self-review, discussion, and cooperation during the 10th and 11th General Conventions.

As a result, a historic and complete unity was achieved on November 30, 2025, in the presence of Prime Minister Sushila Karki and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This unity has strengthened the Association’s commitment to working together, maintaining stability, and moving forward with a shared vision for the future, the statement added.
