CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has denied allegations that he has invested 32 billion rupees in Cambodia. He claims these rumors are meant to damage his reputation.

While speaking at a training event for UML’s ward chairpersons in Bagmati Province, Oli directly blamed CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' for spreading the rumor. He also said that leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal are supporting Prachanda in this campaign.

Oli didn’t hold back from criticizing his former colleagues. He said that during their leadership, Nepal and Khanal failed to run the party effectively. According to Oli, even after stepping down, they were not willing to let go of power and began creating problems within the party.

“They were unhappy when we removed corrupt and weak leadership and focused on building a prosperous Nepal. That’s when they started making baseless accusations and trying to bring us down,” Oli said.
