Nepali Congress leader NP Saud has urged the government to immediately address the legitimate demands of teachers.

Supporting the ongoing teachers' movement in Kathmandu, he made this appeal through a Facebook post, urging the government to fulfill the rightful demands of teachers. Saud wrote, "Education is the foundation of the country's prosperity, and without educational reform, the progress of the nation is not possible." He emphasized that "only satisfied teachers can ensure quality education."

He added, "Therefore, the problems of teachers and employees should be resolved to lead the country toward prosperity, and there should be no delay in doing so."

Saud also expressed his commitment to always stand with teachers regarding the improvement of community education and the just demands of teachers and employees. Teachers are protesting due to dissatisfaction with certain provisions of the School Education Bill. They have warned that if the bill is not amended, they will engage in a more concrete struggle with the government.

As discussions continue in the parliamentary subject committee regarding the School Education Bill, active individuals in the education sector are highlighting the need for serious attention to the demands of the teachers, who have taken to the streets protesting certain provisions of the bill.
