With the National Assembly elections approaching, the Nepali Congress has intensified its internal consultations.
The party is holding another meeting of its Central Work Execution Committee today at the central office, starting at 9 am, according to Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel. The focus of the discussions is the party’s strategy for the 2082 National Assembly elections.
In the meeting held on Tuesday, the Nepali Congress decided to coordinate with other political parties for the upcoming polls. Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka led the initial discussions, while General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa and Joint General Secretaries Farmullah Mansur and Jeevan Pariyar also shared their views.
