The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 13.35 points on Wednesday and closed at 2,635.94 points. The market saw total trading worth Rs 5.17 billion.
Share prices of 187 companies went down, while 62 companies recorded gains. Prices of 10 companies stayed the same.
Even though the overall market declined, Narayani Development Bank’s shares rose the most during the day. On the other hand, SY Panel’s shares fell the most.
Most sectoral indices ended lower. Only the finance and trading sectors managed to close with gains, while all other sectors remained in the red.
