The House of Representatives is set to hold a meeting today, Saturday, at 11 AM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor. The meeting will focus on passing three important bills that are part of the government's legislative agenda.
According to the schedule, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak will present a proposal to pass the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2082. This bill is aimed at making changes to the existing citizenship laws of the country.
Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel will present two proposals in the meeting. The first is for the approval of the Finance Bill, 2082, which includes financial policies related to the national budget. The second proposal is for the passage of the National Debt Recovery Bill, 2082, which focuses on managing and raising national loans.
These bills are expected to be debated and passed in today’s meeting, marking a significant step in Nepal’s legislative process.
