Gen Z Movement Nepal has demanded that the government immediately make public the report of the investigation commission formed to probe the incidents that occurred during the protests on Bhadra 23 and 24.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the organization called for the truth behind the killings, arson, and violent incidents during the protests to be revealed and for those responsible to be brought under legal action. It stated that justice and stability cannot be established in the country until the report is made public.

The group also said that keeping the investigation report confidential while calling for transparency and accountability is completely unacceptable. According to the organization, attempting to move forward with any political process while hiding the truth or protecting those responsible would go against public sentiment and democratic values.

Gen Z Movement Nepal has clearly stated that a new government should only be formed after the investigation report is made public.

The organization also announced that it will hold a peaceful protest today at Maitighar Mandala and has urged the public to participate in demonstrations taking place across the country simultaneously.
