Gold Price Drops to Rs 309,400 per Tola

Gold and silver prices fell in the local market today compared to last Friday.

The price of gold dropped by Rs 4,800 per tola and is now fixed at Rs 309,400 per tola. Similarly, the price of silver decreased by Rs 225 per tola and has been set at Rs 5,270 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

Last Friday, gold was traded at Rs 314,200 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 5,495 per tola.

Earlier, on Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 317,000 per tola and silver at Rs 5,515 per tola. On Wednesday, the price of gold was Rs 319,000 per tola, while silver was Rs 5,720 per tola.

Meanwhile, in the international market, gold is currently trading at 5,023 US dollars per ounce and silver at 81 US dollars per ounce, according to international media reports.
