The District Administration Office Surkhet has warned that action will be taken against anyone creating an artificial shortage of cooking gas and fuel.

In a public notice, the office urged fuel and gas sellers to ensure smooth supply in the market.

According to the notice, complaints have been received from consumers about difficulties in obtaining LPG cooking gas and fuel. The administration has therefore requested that no one unnecessarily hoard fuel or gas cylinders and that suppliers help maintain smooth distribution.

The administration also warned that legal action will be taken if anyone is found hoarding gas cylinders, selling LPG or petroleum products at higher prices, or illegally marketing new cylinders in violation of existing laws.
