Mohan Prasad Oli, Father of K. P. Sharma Oli, Passes Away at 97

The father of former Prime Minister and K. P. Sharma Oli, Mohan Prasad Oli, has passed away at the age of 97.

He died this morning while receiving treatment at Korean Hospital in Gatthaghar. According to family members, he had been ill for some time.

Preparations are being made to take his body to Oli’s residence in Gundu. The final rites will be performed later today at Pashupati Aryaghat.

The late Mohan Prasad Oli is survived by two sons and three daughters.
