The UML secretariat meeting at Gundu, Bhaktapur finalized 16 proportional representation lawmakers from various clusters including Indigenous, Dalit, Madhesi, and Muslim.

The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has finalized the names of its proportional representation (PR) lawmakers. The decision was made during the party’s secretariat meeting held on Saturday at the residence of party chair K. P. Sharma Oli in Gundu, Bhaktapur.
The party has selected 16 lawmakers under the proportional representation category.
From the Indigenous/Janajati cluster, the selected members are Bhumika Subba, Gangadevi Shrestha, Ram Bahadur Thapa Magar, and Kulbhakta Shakya.
Similarly, Yashoda Kumari Baral and Tukabhadra Hamal have been selected from the women’s category, while Padma Aryal, Guru Prasad Baral, and Pushpa Raj Kandel represent the Khas Arya cluster.
From the Tharu cluster, Kriparam Rana has been nominated. In the Dalit category, Bishnumaya BK and Nita Ghatani have been selected.
Likewise, from the Madhesi cluster, Ringla Yadav, Yashodha Kumari Yadav, and Chandreshwar Mandal have been nominated, while Sajida Siddiqui has been selected from the Muslim category.
