Foggy Weather Likely Across Tarai, Light Rain and Snow in Hills

The Weather Forecasting Division says the country is under partial influence of westerly winds.

Fog is likely to affect most parts of the Tarai region. Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as hilly and mountainous areas, are expected to have partly cloudy weather. There may be light rain and snowfall at a few places in the high hills and mountain regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

People have been advised to be careful, especially while traveling by road and air, as fog and clouds could affect visibility.

In the Kathmandu Valley, the temperature this morning dropped to 5 degrees Celsius. The daytime temperature is expected to reach between 17 and 18 degrees Celsius today.
