NRB Releases Today’s Foreign Exchange Rates, US Dollar Slightly Down

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released today’s foreign exchange rates for Wednesday, showing a slight drop in the value of the US dollar. According to the central bank, one US dollar is being bought at Rs 143.37 and sold at Rs 143.97.
The euro is priced at Rs 168.77 for buying and Rs 169.47 for selling. Similarly, the UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 193.76 and sold at Rs 194.57. The Swiss franc stands at Rs 181.80 for buying and Rs 182.56 for selling.


Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 96.11 and sold at Rs 96.51, while the Canadian dollar is priced at Rs 104.69 for buying and Rs 105.13 for selling. The Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 111.80 and sold at Rs 112.27.


According to NRB, 10 Japanese yen are being bought at Rs 9.20 and sold at Rs 9.24. The Chinese yuan is priced at Rs 20.51 for buying and Rs 20.60 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 38.23 and a selling rate of Rs 38.39, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 39.33 and sold at Rs 39.50.


The Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.56 and sold at Rs 4.58. Likewise, the UAE dirham stands at Rs 39.04 for buying and Rs 39.20 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is priced at Rs 35.43 for buying and Rs 35.57 for selling.
For other currencies, 100 South Korean won are being bought at Rs 9.94 and sold at Rs 9.98. The Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 15.60 and sold at Rs 15.67, while the Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 22.60 and a selling rate of Rs 22.69.


NRB has fixed the buying rate of the Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.42 and the selling rate at Rs 18.50. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 465.82 and sold at Rs 467.77. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 380.26 for buying and Rs 381.85 for selling, while the Omani rial is priced at Rs 372.87 for buying and Rs 374.43 for selling.


Meanwhile, the exchange rate for Indian currency remains stable, with 100 Indian rupees being bought at Rs 160 and sold at Rs 160.15.
