CPN-UML is staging rallies in all 77 districts today as part of its nationwide campaign demanding Parliament reinstatement.

calling for the reinstatement of Parliament and opposing what it describes as “regressive conspiracies.”
According to Rajendra Gautam, head of the party’s publicity department, UML has mobilized central leaders, district in-charges, and all organizational structures to ensure strong participation. The nationwide event marks the third phase of the party’s four-stage mass outreach campaign. Earlier phases included ward-level gatherings on Kartik 22 and municipality-level rallies on Kartik 25.
As part of today’s programs, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel will address a mass meeting in Nepalgunj. Deputy General Secretaries Pradeep Gyawali and Prithvi Subba Gurung will speak in Gulmi and Lamjung respectively. Similarly, Secretaries Chhabilal Bishwakarma in Rupandehi and Padma Aryal in Birtamod, Jhapa, are scheduled to lead major gatherings. Koshi Province Chief Minister and Standing Committee member Hikmat Karki will address a rally in Dhankuta.
The UML has already completed gatherings in all 753 local levels and meetings in 6,743 wards nationwide. The party says its mass engagement campaign will conclude with a large demonstration in Kathmandu on Mangsir 6.
