Twenty-five NC central members have asked the party to hold its 15th General Convention before the upcoming election, stressing timely membership renewal and stronger youth inclusion.

Twenty-five central members from the Nepali Congress establishment faction have submitted a memorandum demanding that the party’s 15th General Convention be held before the Falgun 21 parliamentary election.
They urged the leadership to begin the convention by Mangsir 15, saying active membership renewal is nearly complete and should be finalized on time. The memorandum also calls for stronger representation of youth, women, Dalits, indigenous groups, Madhesis, Muslims, marginalized communities and persons with disabilities.
Central member Arjun Prasad Joshi said the group wants the Interim Election Committee completed immediately and has also pressed for inclusive candidate selection and internal discussions on constitutional amendment issues.
