Citizen Investment Trust Reports 14% Increase in Profit.

The profit of the Citizens Investment Trust has increased by 14%. The financial report of the second quarter of the current fiscal year revealed by the company shows the current profit is 62.22 crore Nepali rupees. In the same period of last year, the company was in a profit of 54.60 crore rupees. 

The company's interest income saw a slight decrease, while the service charges and commission income have increased. The improvement in commission income and service charges surged the total income of the company. In the previous year, the total income of the second quarter was 92.45 crore rupees, while now, it has reached 1 Arba 3 crore rupees. 

The company's annual earnings per share are 19.20 rupees, and the net worth per share is 143.18 rupees, which was previously 165.80 rupees. Citizens Investment Fund, which collects money through various schemes and funds, invests in fixed deposits, bonds, loans, shares, and other securities. The company’s share price in the market is 1,987 rupees per share.
