The Sudurpaschim Provincial Government has decided to give Rs 4 million in aid to help the fire victims in Bajura.
This decision was made during a meeting of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Control Council, which was led by Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah.
Chief Minister Shah said that the money will be sent to Budhiganga Municipality. More help may be given later after a full report on the damage is ready.
The council has also decided to give out 15 tents, 34 blankets, and 34 tarpaulins to the families affected by the fire.
The fire started when a gas cylinder exploded at the Navadurga Hotel in Bamka Bazaar, Budhiganga Municipality-6. It destroyed 31 homes and shops, causing damage worth about Rs 150 million, according to security officials.
